Privacy Policy

This project is part of a collaboration between Microsoft Research, Befrienders India, and me (a PhD student at Georgia Tech). This project is being done to enable you to reach human counsellors faster and enable helplines to plan their availability/shift times better.

When you call any helplines (including our main helpline, 1-800-212-7077), the call is not recorded. The system simply routes it to the first available helpline. Anonymous data from your call, such as the time or duration of call, is recorded to better understand how we can improve our service. Additionally, any feedback that you choose to provide is collected for our analysis to improve the system.

When you visit this website, we also use Google Analytics to collect anonymous statistical information about how people use this website. This data is not personally identifiable.
